Motcombe
Gardens is set in the middle of Old Town and is based around
the source of the Bourne Stream from which Eastbourne got
its name. Motcombe Gardens was originally a farmyard and where
the Bourne rises was the old duck pond. The ducks are still
there today and these pretty, well-tended gardens are now
based around the pond. There is also a well kept bowling green.
