Royal Wedding Picnic in The Park at Princes Park The Royal Wedding takes place on the Friday of the Bank Holiday weekend, just before Eastbourne�s Magnificent Motors motoring spectacular from 30 April � 1 May. Eastbourne is joining in the celebrations on Friday 29 April with a giant screen broadcasting the wedding in Princes Park with live music in the afternoon through to early evening. Residents and visitors are invited to come along and enjoy a picnic in the park, watch the Royal Wedding on the big screen, and then enjoy live music through to early evening while watching images on the screen. The park will be dressed with red white and blue flags and bunting and there will be children�s giant inflatables/slides to keep the little ones entertained plus face painting to get your best red white and blue face or come ready painted! Visitors are encouraged to come dressed in your best red, white and blue clothes and royal regalia and there will be prizes of tickets for forthcoming shows and events for best dressed man, best dressed woman, best dressed child, best dressed family. Bring your Union Jack flags to wave! There will be a licensed bar and refreshments and all day car parking at Five Acre Field and Fort Fun car park |
