Eastbourne Boasts England�s Only 5-Star Seaside Hotel Known as the White Palace, the luxury 5-star Grand Hotel on Eastbourne seafront has been named as England�s only 5-star seaside hotel Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Cllr Susan Morris said �For Eastbourne to be known as the country�s only seaside resort with a 5-star hotel is absolutely fantastic news and something we are very proud of. A survey carried out by Retail Active earlier this year reported that despite the potential rise of the staycation, several British establishments did still offer a �Fawlty Towers� experience.
