Local Businesses Given Chance to Shape the Future of Eastbourne Local businesses will soon be given the opportunity to continue to shape the future of Eastbourne through an in-depth survey. Local businesses will soon be given the opportunity to continue to shape the future of Eastbourne through an in-depth survey. Eastbourne Borough Council have appointed independent researchers to find out more about what local businesses want and need, in order to expand in future years. As empty commercial space in Eastbourne becomes harder to find, the Council are hoping to find out more about future expansion and staffing requirements, to help plan for the future needs of growing local businesses. SEER Consulting, a research division of Sussex Enterprise will be approaching a sample of businesses during July for confidential interviews. The focus will be on office and industrial based businesses across the Borough. Logistically it is not possible to approach every business, and the Council is urging all those contacted throughout the cross section, to take advantage of this opportunity so that results are as accurate as possible. As with all professional market research organisations the responses are guaranteed to remain anonymous. Eastbourne Borough Council Spokesperson for Economy, Councillor Bob Lacey said Planning for our future economic prosperity is essential, and we hope that all businesses approached will take part. The survey results will ensure that the town will benefit from sound economic planning for the local economys future prosperity and growth. For more information on the survey contact the Economic Development office on 01323 415028, visit www.eastbourne.gov.uk/business or contact Rosie Page at SEER Consulting on 01444 259259. |
