Fasten Seatbelts as Airbourne In Flight Meals Get Ready For Take Off
Eastbourne visitors and hospitality organisers are being advised to book their seats early and fasten seatbelts, for the take off of In Flight hospitality at this years Airbourne from 12 15 August.
Eastbourne visitors and hospitality organisers are being advised to book their seats early and fasten seatbelts, for the take off of In Flight hospitality at this years Airbourne from 12 15 August.

Guests will be checking into their first class cabins each morning, offering uninterrupted views of the flying displays along with top quality cuisine, from the comfort of their hospitality marquee and balcony seating.

Organisers Eastbourne Borough Council and Abfab Food, are introducing the new exclusive hospitality areas at the Bandstand. A range of marquees offering private dining for up to 20 guests in each, will be located on the middle promenade seaward balcony, facing the very centre of the flying display line and offering the best seats in the house.

Airbourne: Eastbourne International Airshow is sponsored by csma (Civil Service Motoring Association) and is a free airshow for the 700,000 visitors who attend each year, however organisers are offering private hospitality and exclusive seating for those looking to avoid the crowds.

Guests will be able to enjoy a full complement of RAF flying displays, including the new Tornado GR4 display, the Harrier during its spectacular hover, and the recently announced Red Arrows special display celebrating their 40th season.

Offering marquee dining and balcony seating on all four days from 12 15 August, guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival, a two course buffet lunch accompanied by a free glass of wine, followed by coffee and mints and an afternoon cream tea.

Opening at 11.30am each morning, a licensed pay bar, additional wine list and refreshments will also be available throughout the afternoon along with private cloakroom facilities.

Working with Steve Mitchell of Abfab Food, organisers have a specially designed menu which they are confident will appeal to all tastes. Abfab Food has an excellent reputation and Steve counts Charleston Manor among his regular clients. Steve is also Chef-Company in residence for The English Wine Centre's Walton's Oak Barn restaurant.

Early booking is advisable and packages cost 50 per person, however for a limited period organisers are offering early bird discounts on bookings of complete tables seating 10 guests. Hospitality organisers and visitors can also add extra value to their day out with pre-booked helicopter flights for their guests each morning.

Norman Kinnish, Director of Economy, Tourism & Environment for Eastbourne Borough Council said Superb food and the best seats in the house at the South Coasts premier airshow! What an ideal way for local businesses to entertain clients presenting Eastbourne at its very best, or indeed for residents and visitors to treat someone special with an unforgettable day out.

For those looking to reserve seats without food, exclusive seating areas on the Upper Promenade tier of the Bandstand will again be available for pre-booking, costing 5 per person.
