Eastbourne Beer Fest Saturday Sells Out Ale lovers have flocked in their thousands to get their hands on tickets for this year�s Eastbourne Beer Festival with Friday night and Saturday night both sold out, with more than a month to go. The popular event returns to Eastbourne Winter Garden from 27 � 29 October and promises more than 120 real ales on tap, bottled beers from around the world, traditional pub games and a packed programme of live music. The event has sold out for the past few years with the final tickets going in the days leading up to the event but the 2011 Beer Festival is looking to break all records with the Saturday night and Friday night tickets selling out weeks in advance. Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Cllr Neil Stanley said �This year�s Eastbourne Beer Festival continues to break records and it�s not even started yet! It has grown over the past few years to become a firm favourite in our events calendar and judging by how quickly this year�s tickets have flown out the door, it certainly looks to be the event to attend! With a 2 for 1 offer still available for Thursday night tickets, I�d encourage real ale fans to book now for the opening session and make the most of getting first dibs on the drinks!� The drinks menu promises a wide variety of British ales, such as Cottage Golden Arrow, Purple Moose Dark Side of the Moose and York Centurion Ghost, as well as local ales from Sussex including Harvey�s South Down Harvest, Rother Valley Blues and Legless Rambler and Beachy Head Original Ale made at Beachy Head Brewery. Live bands will provide a bumper soundtrack across all sessions with performances from The Cajun Dawgs, Howlin� Blues, Ragati String Band, The Mojo Makers, Band of Two, Beve and the Beetroots and dancing with Long Man Morris and Hunters Moon Morris.
