Essex Dog Display Team at Airbourne THE ESSEX Dog Display Team will be entertaining spectators at Airbourne from August 14-17. This features an action-packed display where dogs will thrill the crowds by carrying out spectacular fire jumps, highly-controlled attack work, some amazing retrieving and fast and furious daredevil exercises. The display team will consist of 19 dADVERTISEMENTogs, most of which have been rescued, and will include everything from a German Shepherd through to a cross-breed. Roy Dyer, founder and director of The Essex Dog Display Team, said, "The dogs love working in displays, and we always welcome members of the public to met the team and the dogs after the display and discuss dog ownership." THE RAF College Band and the Go Fast! parkour team will also be performing on the Western Lawns. And the Royal Marines Commando Display Team is also set to perform their unarmed combat in the Airbourne arena. Eastbourne Borough Council spokesperson for tourism Councillor Steve Wallis said, "I'm very excited about the Airbourne arena line-up for 2008 and I'm sure it will be a huge hit with airshow spectators." Flying displays are also confirmed from the Red Arrows, Guinot Wingwalkers, Catalina, RAF Typhoon, Hawk, Tucano and Tutor, plus the impressive Chinook helicopter. Tickets for the screened off section on the seafront, which includes the Western Lawns display area, cost �5 (or �2.50 with a buy one get one free voucher). |
