One of Brockwell's goals resulted from a superb flighted pass from John Piercy After the interval, Greg Manton bagged a further brace for the home side. Pick of Manton's goals was when he dummied two defenders before turning to slam home high into the net giving the Shoreham Keeper no chance. Shoreham pulled back a consolation when Manton's goals were interspersed by Shaheen Sadough's effort. By then however, Town were home and dry in the next round of the League Challenge Cup, where Town are drawn away against Arundel, who defeated Eastbourne United Association yesterday at The Oval. |
